Welcome to Portland Clinical Research!
Portland Clinical Research is the research practice for Columbia Asthma & Allergy Clinic (CAAC). With three locations in Washington (Longview, Fisher’s Landing, and Salmon Creek), two locations in Oregon (Clackamas and Gresham), and two locations in California (Fremont and San Leandro), CAAC has a clinic near you to help you manage your allergy and asthma-related symptoms.
Every year, people like you volunteer to participate in clinical research trials. Without volunteers, new medication and therapies for disease could not be developed. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will provide information and answer your questions so that you have the information you need to make an educated and informed decision to participate in a study.
Please call or e-mail us if you would like to learn more about research and our ongoing studies. You are also welcome to visit our clinic; there is never a charge for visits to learn about research and study opportunities.
About Portland Clinical Research
We conduct clinical trials with strict oversight by an independent ethics committee.
As required by federal law, all research conducted at Portland Clinical Research is reviewed by an Institutional Review Board (IRB). IRBs play an important role in protecting the rights and welfare of volunteers in clinical research trials. To further protect our volunteers, all Portland Clinical Research staff have completed Good Clinical Practice and Human Subject Protection training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) offered through the University of Miami.
